.22 ​Rimfire
Prone target shooting with iron sights indoors at 25yards and outdoor at 50yards, 50 metres and 100yards. The club has invested heavily in recent years and installed Meyton electronic targets at all 6 indoor firing points. There are also electronic targets outside at 50m and 100yards.
Air Weapons
Dedicated air rifle and pistol range indoor 10m, 20m and 25m Up to 12ftlbs. There is still the option to shoot on the outdoor ranges up to 100yards.
FAC Air Rifle can be shot in the rimfire range or outdoors.
Long Range
As part of our Derbyshire Rifle Association affiliation we have access to shoot at Thorpe Cloud which has ranges up to 500 yards. Here we shoot prone, Target Rifle, F Class, Black Powder Rifles and Military Rifles.
Black Powder
Black powder shooting of pistols and revolvers indoor only to 25yards Pistol calibres up to .455 and velocities up to 1410fps with an energy less than 475ftbls
Centre fire
Centrefire Underlever in pistol calibres indoor up to 25 yds. Pistol calibres up to .455 and velocities up to 1410fps with an energy less than 475ftbls. Lead rounds only no wadcutters
Clubroom
Accessible toilet, basic hot drink making equipment, flood-lit outdoor range, test range for ammunition testing.
